Treasure Valley Community College has partnered with Regroup.com to provide emergency messaging and alerts on college closings, delays and other important notifications.

In case of emergency, TVCC sends emergency alerts to anyone with a College-provided e-mail account. In addition, TVCC has a system (TVCC-Alert) to rapidly communicate with students, faculty, and staff by sending a voice message and/or instant text message to home and cell phones. While the system is active and ready for use, it is only as good as the contact information it contains.

This is where we need your help!

In order to send you emergency text messages and voice mail alerts, you must provide cell phone information. Please login to the TVCC Alert System and update your contact information. The information you supply is confidential and will not be shared off campus. We will contact you through the system in the event of an emergency.

This system allows you to choose to receive emergency notifications from Treasure Valley Community College to your email address, cell phone, or text messages. In addition, you have the option of signing up for other notification such as weather related notifications, (college closings), traffic problems around the campus and event changes.

Follow these easy steps to opt-in for emergency notices:

In your web browser, type: http://alert.tvcc.cc.

Type in your TVCC username and password, then click the Log in box.


The TVCC Alerts page will open.




Email Preferences
By default, your TVCC email will be entered as the primary email address set to receive alerts. You may designate a different Primary Email to use instead. Just type in the alternate email address and click Add.



Text and Voice Preferences


Enter your phone number (no dashes)
Select your carrier
Select Text and/or Voice messages.
Click in the box “It is ok for regroup to send text/voice messages to my phone. Standard rates apply.”
Click Save.


Group Notifications


Click the Group Notifications tab. You can change Email Frequency or turn off Text Notifications.

Join a group
The Join a group tab lists different notification groups.
You may join groups that are pertinent to you.
